Chris Lee to headline Rental Housing Economic Conference

Chris Lee with CEL Associates will be the keynote speaker at the 2012 Rental Housing Economic Conference on September 11, 2012 at the Salt Lake Board of Realtors building in Sandy.
“We are excited to have Chris Lee back,” said Paul Smith, Executive Director of the Apartment Association which organizes the conference each year. “He is our most requested speaker and has become a Utah favorite.” Smith says that one of the things Utah audiences like most about Lee is his slide shows which are packed with easy to understand and extremely valuable data on rental housing. “I don’t know anyone who is better at organizing helpful information,” he says. Lee also authorizes the UAA to give copies of the slide show to all conference attendees.
Lee brings with him over 30 years of experience in strategic and long-range planning, performance improvement, compensation and organizational development within the real estate industry. Mr. Lee's background, which includes diversified experience in real estate development, land-use economics, strategic planning, investment analysis, workouts, mergers/acquisitions, compensation, finance, and performance benchmarking, enables him to contribute an interdisciplinary approach to the overall process of analyzing and guiding real estate organizations and project teams.

Mr. Lee has been published in national journals, has been a keynote speaker at conferences sponsored by NAA and has spoken at the Utah event four previous times. He serves as the editor for Strategic Advantage, a nationwide publication received by 17,000 senior executives of real estate companies. In addition to Mr. Lee, James Wood, Director of the U of U Bureau of Economic Research will also be speaking.

The conference is sponsored by ARA Realty advisors.
